Instructions
1: Prepare the Tomatoes by making a small cross incision on the bottom of each tomato and boil them for about 4-5 minutes until the skins start to peel off. 2: Prepare the Sauce by heating some olive oil in a pan, adding the chopped onions, and sautéing for a couple of minutes. 3: Add the peeled tomatoes to the pan, briefly chop or smash them, cover the pan, and let it simmer for at least 20 minutes. 4: Once the sauce is ready, blend it into a smooth puree. 5: Prepare the Meatballs by mixing the meatball ingredients together and shaping the mixture into balls. 6: Sear the meatballs on each side in a hot pan until browned. 7: Add the tomato puree to the pan with the seared meatballs and let it simmer for a minimum of 20 minutes. 8: Serve the meatballs with some bread and save some sauce for pasta the next day.View original recipe
